This Hard Case, also referred to as a Kora Flight Case, is of our own design and provides complete protection for your kora whilst travelling. Our gig bag does offer protection from the weather and varying room temperature, but only a hard case can really keep it safe on the road.
Our cases are being bought by professional and non-professional kora players alike as they are very strong, lightweight and easy to move around, having wheels and handles strategically placed.
The hard case is designed so that you can leave the bridge up in place whilst travelling and it can accept koras of varying sizes.
Its external dimensions are 144cm x 60cm x 53cm and it weighs approximately 9.5kg.
Cases are currently made to order and there is usually a minimum of 4 weeks delay, though we are trying to build up a stock so they can be provided more quickly.
