We welcome kora students and guests throughout our winter season, from November through till mid April, for a tailor made, all-inclusive holiday. There are no set dates, come when it suits you. For details and photos, please see our Kafountine, Senegal page.
If you would like to visit but not learn kora, you can book ‘Just a Holiday’
Use this booking to tell us what you would like to book, let us know your preferred dates in the Additional Information at Checkout and we’ll reply to confirm availability, length of stay etc. This gets the ball rolling and we’ll ask for a deposit once everything is confirmed.
Prices are per week, extra days are simply charged pro rata.

This includes
- kora tuition and loan of a kora for the duration of your stay
- all meals and hot drinks
- private room (optional upgrade to Eco Lodge)
Note: Transport from and back to the airport is easily arranged and costs around 60€ per car load. This is usually paid in cash but can be added to your invoice if you prefer.
