Finding the time and space to concentrate on playing the kora is often hard for many of us, with family life and work demanding most of our energy and time. With our holidays, both in France and Senegal, we offer you a relaxed and beautiful environment in which to take the time needed to really sit and play the kora for as long as you want, with a patient teacher nearby. We take care of the essentials of life, with good home-cooked food in comfortable surroundings, enabling you to recharge your batteries and play as much or as little as you want.

Balanced with learning and practice, there are a host of other things to do in both local areas. You’re more than welcome to come with friends, as a couple or even with your whole family. Non-kora players can enjoy a lazy morning or go off to discover the local culture whilst you learn and play, then back together for a delicious communal lunch. Afterwards, the afternoons are entirely up to you, either carry on playing or take some time to explore.
