KORA WORKSHOPS IN SENEGAL

Come and learn to play the Kora, the West African Harp, in an

idyllic setting.

Choose 2 or 3 weeks on the southern Senegalese coast, on our own large rural compound in Kafountine.

Simple, comfortable and clean accommodation

with all tuition, loan of a kora, all meals

and transport to and from Banjul Airport (our nearest airport, in The Gambia) included.   All water drawn from our well, solar powered lighting.

 

All levels of ability welcome, from absolute beginners to experienced players.  

 Our workshops are well-respected for their content, flexibility and relaxed style.

 

Cost 

Two weeks £550

Three weeks £800

(all inclusive except for flights)

 We have some double rooms and subject to availability non-kora playing partners are very welcome and can be be accommodated at a discount of 50%

Arrivals on Fridays at Banjul

5th March

12th March 

 

 

£100 deposit per person will secure your place. The balance will be payable once your place is confirmed.

 

We will contact you to make all necessary arrangements and to confirm the balance due.

 

We also welcome payment by cheque or direct credit, please contact us to reserve your place.
