Josh Doughty -
Josh Doughty is twenty years old and from Wales. He has been playing the kora since the age of eight and was initially taught by his father Adam Doughty.
Over the years he has received tuition from several renowned kora players residing
in the UK: Seckou Keita, Fily Cissokho and Surahata Suso. In 2007 he travelled to
Senegal where he received tuition from Aliou Gassama. Also in 2007 he travelled to
Mali following an invitation from Toumani Diabate to spend time in his home as his
