The Kora is the famous 21-stringed West African Harp Lute.

We make and sell machine head koras

and repair both traditional and machine head types.

 We also convert traditional leather rings to guitar machine heads, making them much easier to tune.

We also run workshops, offer one-to-one kora tuition for all abilities  and have developed a Tuition CD. It is available separately but also comes free when you buy one of our koras.

We offer help and advice in all things kora-related and hope you find the site useful.  We are currently developing a series of p[ages on kora musicians and teachers
